Government of Assam is to provide Twenty Thousand Indian Rupess (20000) to 16,944 students each who have passed with star Mark or 75 percent marks in the high school leaving certificate (HSLC) examination, 2020 conducted by SEBA.   Assam: Students With Star Marks In HSLC To Receive Rs. 20000/- The amount will be provided to the meritorious students under the Anundorum Barooah Award , announced education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma at a press meet in Guwahati on Friday. “ Earlier laptops were provided to the students under this scheme. This year, we are giving Rs. 20 thousand each to 16,944 students. The students will get the money on September 12 or 13. The total budget for the entire scheme will be around 33 to 34 crores ,” said minister Sarma. Results of HSLC exams for the year 2020 were declared on June 6.
