Guwahati Refinery Recruitment 2019 Guwahati Refinery, a refining unit of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, invites applications from candidates who have successfully completed their Apprenticeship Training from Guwahati Refinery in the relevant trade/discipline under Apprentices Act,1961/Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973 for the following posts in the non-executive cadre in Grade IV in the pay scale of Rs 11900-32000/-(Pre-revised).

1. Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (P&U)

No of posts: 03
Educational Qualification Requirements: 3 years Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engg /B Sc. (PCM) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

2. Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Instrumentation)

No of posts: 02
Educational Qualification Requirements: 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering from a recognized Institute/University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

3. Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Electrical)

No of posts: 05
Educational Qualification Requirements: 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Institute/ University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC/ST/ candidates against reserved positions.

4. Jr Materials Assistant –IV/Jr. Technical Assistant -IV

No of posts: 05
Educational Qualification Requirements: 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation Engg. from recognized Institute/University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate & 45% in case of PwBD candidates against reserved positions.

Age Limit: 

Minimum 18 years and Maximum age shall be 26 years for candidates against unreserved posts. Relaxation in age upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates considered against reserved positions will be allowed. Candidates belonging to PwBD categories shall be given age relaxation upto 10 years (upto 15 years for SC/ST and upto 13 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates).

Selection Prosses

The selection Prosses will comprise Written Test and a Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test which will be of qualifying nature. Category-wise and post wise merit list shall be drawn on the basis of marks obtained in the Written Test, only for such candidates who qualify in the SPPT.

 Candidates are required to submit filled –in application form in the prescribed format at the time of reporting on 03.01.2019. (The prescribed format will be forwarded at the e-mail of the candidates by 26.12.2018). 

 Candidates are advised to report as per the above-mentioned schedule with originals & attested photocopies of all mark sheets , Apprenticeship Completion Certificate, Latest Caste Certificate in the prescribed format applicable , Proof of Age (Matriculation mark sheet/certificate etc.), two passport size color photographs and any other relevant testimonials, documents, proof & certificates.
